Lance Christensen is Vice President of Government Affairs and Education Policy at California Policy Center, and has nearly two decades of public policy and political experience. Christensen was one of the principal architects of the recent school choice initiative proposal in California and candidate for California Superintendent of Public Instruction on the November 2022 statewide ballot. He has worked as a legislative consultant in the California State Senate, as well as a finance budget analyst at the Department of Finance, and served as chief of staff and senior policy advisor to California State Sen. John Moorlach.
